Designer bag bingo

Designer bag bingo will be presented by Clearview-Wenonah Junior Women's Club Friday, May 11, at the Mantua Community Center, 111 Mercer Ave., Sewell. Presale only, space is limited. Tickets $25 each through any Clearview-Wenonah Junior, Missy at 856-419-7523, or send contact information and check to Tara, CW Juniors, PO Box 138, Sewell, N.J. 08080.

Cost of $25, eight games, half tables of five or tables of 10 can be reserved. Food and drinks available for purchase, door prize raffle for everyone who brings a canned good for local food banks, a centerpiece raffle for each table, a 50/50 and various baskets to auction. Bring pennies. No children or alcohol. All proceeds benefit local families in need and non-profit organizations.

Indoor yard sale

On Saturday, April 21, between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., the New Sharon United Methodist Church, located at 1831 Delsea Drive in Deptford Township, will hold a large indoor yard sale to benefit its "New Roof Fund." Everything will be very reasonable and the yard sale will be held rain or shine.

An Indoor Yard Sale "Rehash the Trash" will be held at Bethesda UMW's Bizarre Bazaar and Bake Sale at Bethesda UMC, 1435 Kings Highway, Swedesboro on Saturday, April 21 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tables rent for $10 and will be assigned as they are rented. Set up 7 a.m. and breakdown 1 p.m. Make checks payable to Bethesda UMW, must be paid by April 11. Main Street Woodbury

Main Street Woodbury presents an exploration of the new and hidden gems of Woodbury. Come out and enjoy a variety of events including tastings, networking, grand openings, sneak peeks and VIP exclusives.

A five-course tasting dinner and wine pairing will be held Sunday, April 1, 6 to 9 p.m. Cost of $60/person includes five course dinner and paired wine per course. Marlene's Mangia Bene (Woodbury restaurant) is conjuring up a unique meal to which the experts at Joe Canal's (Woodbury liquor store) will pair Italian wines. Yard sale

A Community Wide Yard Sale will be held May 5 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Gloucester County Institute of Technology. (Rain date May 12). Tables not provided. GCIT's FCCLA will be hosting the sale. Delsea Project Graduation Social

DTHS Project Graduation

"A Night at Adelphia" Restaurant will be hosted be DTHS Project Graduation Monday, April 16, 7 to 9 p.m. Dinner buffet and open bar accompanied by a basket auction. Cost of $15. Tickets may be purchased from any Project Graduation Committee member or from Maria Ford at the high school. Students may purchase tickets for their families during homeroom. Basket Auction

The Glassboro Child Development Centers (GCDC), a non-profit, United Way, child care agency, will hold its 11th Annual Basket Auction Wednesday, March 28, at 7 p.m. at Dorothy L. Bullock School, 370 E. New St., Glassboro. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. There will be "themed" baskets, sports, theater, gift card and other prizes, a 50/50 raffle and refreshments. Proceeds benefit GCDC preschool and school age programs for over 250 children.

Community Yard Sale

The annual Community Yard Sale will be held at Mickleton's Little Red Schoolhouse on Saturday, April 28, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. This popular event is located at Harmony and Democrat Roads near Kings Highway. Large, outdoor spaces are $25 and can be reserved by calling 856-223-5111.

The Annual Yard Sale/ Craft Sale will be held Saturday, May 12 at the Colonial Manor United Methodist Church, Elberne Avenue and Tatum Street, West Deptford Township (Colonial Manor), rain or shine from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Interested vendors, reserve space early for only $15 (complimentary coffee).

Fashion Show and Luncheon

The Underwood-Memorial Hospital Second Auxiliary will be holding their annual Fashion Show and Luncheon. This year's theme is "Under the Sea."

The event will be held on Wednesday, April 18 at Auletto's and features Fashions by Marlene's of Collingswood. The reception begins at 11:30 a.m. and the luncheon begins at noon. All proceeds benefit Underwood-Memorial Hospital's transition to digital radiography.

Community yard sale

On April 28, the Underwood-Memorial Hospital First Auxiliary is holding a community yard sale to benefit the hospital's transition to digital radiography. If you would like to join the fun and sell your own items, you can rent a space for $15.

We are also taking donations to be sold with the proceeds benefiting the hospital. The sale will run from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Underwood-Memorial Hospital in Woodbury. A hoagie sale will also be held.
