LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Get ready for an adrenaline rush. "Eye on L.A." brings you some of the most fun and exciting ways to get out, get your heart racing and feel the wind in your face. But be warned, these activities are addicting.

Parkour, or freerunning, is a sport that is catching on. Imagine the streets as your personal obstacle course. At the Tempest Freerunning Academy in Chatsworth, an obstacle course and training facility, you can learn the basic running, jumping, flipping and flying skills of parkour to the advanced maneuvers and tricks of freerunning. Eye on L.A. took in a sailing lesson with Blue Pacific Boating and spent the day cruising the Santa Monica Bay. The company offers private and group sailing lessons, charters, and they also sell boats. You don't have to be rich to charter a boat for an all-day adventure on the ocean, taking in the fun, the sun and our amazing sea life, including dolphins, whales and sea lions. [Watch video].

In the middle of the Hollywood Hills and high above Los Angeles, you'll find Sunset Ranch. It's a ranch for horse lovers and riders that boasts beautiful riding trails and views. Each ride comes with your very own cowboy or cowgirl guide, and most rides include views of the Griffith Observatory and the Hollywood sign. [Watch video].

Did you know you can fly high above the Santa Monica Pier and check out the ocean while you flip through the air? TSNY Los Angeles Trapeze School teaches you everything you need to know to swing, hang and soar, all with the greatest of ease, of course. [Watch video].

If blasting in the air hundreds of feet above ground at 45 miles per hour is your thing, Catalina Zip Line Eco Tour is the place for you. They offer five different amazing runs, with the longest being 1,045 feet long - all surrounded by green paradise and the chance to see wildlife, like deer and eagles. [Watch video].

We discovered the perfect way to unleash some of that road rage and put the pedal to the metal is at the Ventura Raceway. Professional race car driver Cory Kruseman taught us what it takes to get behind the wheel of a Sprint Car or Ford Focus Midget. [Watch video].

You might feel like a superhero after taking in an archery lesson at the Pasadena Roving Archers archery club in Pasadena's Lower Arroyo Seco Park, which has been around since 1935. The booming sport attracts all ages and all walks of life, and the best part is, it won't break your wallet. Every Saturday morning, the Pasadena Roving Archers offer first time lessons for free, and it's only $5 per lesson after that. But get there early because it's first come, first served, and it fills up fast. [Watch video].

Hangar 18 is one of Southern California's best indoor climbing gyms, with more than 10,000 feet of textured terrain and caves for the more advanced climbers. But Hanger 18 is also for beginners, including children, or for those who want to try indoor rock climbing just for fun. [Watch video].

iFLY Hollywood indoor skydiving at Universal Studios CityWalk gave Eye on L.A. quite the adrenaline rush, as we experienced human body flight. It's safe for kids, challenging for adults, exciting for teens and realistic for skydivers. No experience is necessary, and it's great fun for ages 3 and up. [Watch video].

Eye on L.A. wanted to remind everyone to enjoy the moment and take it all in, so we went to Sunrise Balloons in the heart of Temecula's wine country. It's a getaway from the city traffic and busy-ness of L.A. Sunrise offers adventures that begin with an overnight stay at the beautiful Monte De Oro Winery, an early morning reception, followed by a beautiful sunrise and a fun photo session, where you can get up close and even inside your balloon as it's being inflated. Then we fired it up and took to the skies, where the party continues surrounded by peace and quiet and a champagne picnic on-board. [Watch video].

Sunrise Balloons is offering a special package for Eye on L.A. viewers, which includes an overnight stay at a winery, a hot air balloon ride for two and many extras. Get details on the company's website, www.sunriseballoons.com.

Eye on L.A. joined Dance Mob Nation to flash mob the Hollywood & Highland Center, surprising a very happy birthday girl. Though Dance Mob Nation has a database of trained professional dancers, they also encourage anyone who loves to dance to sign up and join in on the fun. It's a great way to get out of the house, meet fun people and you also get in a great work out with free dance lessons - and all for good causes. [Watch video].
