Easter egg hunts are planned around the community this holiday season.

■ St. Johns County Recreation and Parks Department's Annual Easter Egg Hunt is Thursday at three local parks: Treaty Park, 1595 Wildwood Drive; Veterans Park, 1332 Veterans Parkway, St. Johns; and Al Wilkie Park, 6140 Main St., Hastings.

The hunts, which will begin promptly at 11 a.m. at each location, are for children ages 8 and younger. Remember to bring an Easter basket to hold all the candy filled eggs and be ready for a special appearance from the Easter Bunny prior to the hunt.

■ Adventure Landing will conduct an Easter Egg hunt from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, with all proceeds going to the Betty Griffin House of St. Johns County.

The hunt is for ages 3 to 10.

■ The City of Flagler Beach will host its annual Easter Egg Hunt beginning at 5:15 p.m. Friday at Veterans Park, intersection of State Road 100 and A1A, Flagler Beach. Pictures with the Easter Bunny will follow the hunt.

The age groups for the 'egg hunters' are as follows with each child accompanied by an adult: Three and under, 4 and 5 years old, 6 and 7 and 8 to 10.

■ McDowell Baptist Church, 16 Bay View Drive, will host the seventh annual Easter Egg Hunt at 10 a.m. April 7. Meet at the church, baskets will be provided and lunch will be served after the egg hunt.
