He's often been criticized for end-of-game choices, especially during last season's NBA finals and again lately after he passed to Udonis Haslem for a potential game-winning shot instead of taking it himself in a game Miami lost at Utah.
So on Saturday, James fed both story lines. He scored Miami's last eight points of regulation to lead a comeback, then called upon Dwyane Wade to take the last shot in overtime. Wade drilled a 20-footer and the Heat beat Indiana 93-91.
James called it "a big-time shot."
And, clearly, the right call, as well.
