I used to love it when Mike Tyson would listen to an over-matched opponent at a press conference describe how he would take on and defeat the reigning heavyweight champion. When the opponent was done with his soliloquy, Tyson would simply say, "Everyone has a plan, until they get punched in the mouth."

Kansas State Wildcats coach Frank Martin will have a good plan to defeat the No. 1-seeded Syracuse Orange. Whether it works or not is another matter.

Martin doesn't need my help, but I will offer some advice any way. Here are five keys for the Wildcats as they aim to take down the Orange.

1. Offensive rebound effectively Kansas State's strength, this season, has been Syracuse's Achilles heel: rebounding. The Wildcats generate extra possessions on the offensive glass by rebounding 41 percent of their own missed shots -- the average team in college basketball offensive rebounds at a 32 percent rate.
