Easter Eats: Fun Opportunities for Your Bunny Day Brunch - Nashville Scene
Apr 6th 2012, 02:46

Even if you haven't made plans for your Easter Day dining, it's not too late. Don't spend all day in front of the TV watching the Masters, pack up the kids and their Easter baskets and head out to one of these fun options.

You know you're probably in for a wait whenever you head out to the Loveless Cafe. This year for Easter brunch, they actually took reservations. Notice the past tense: All the reservations are full. But they have intentionally saved spots for half the available tables for walk-ins who didn't get in on the advance plans.

The Loveless Easter Brunch will be served inside the festively decorated Loveless Barn. Two Easter Egg Hunts are planned just outside on the Barn lawns, so your kiddies will have something fun to distract them while you wait for a table. Additional activities such as egg dyeing and coloring sheets will be available for young children in a designated area after their meal. The Easter Bunny will also be available for photographs. There will also be Live Bluegrass playing throughout the event.

Open seating is available first-come, first-served for walk-up guests. The entire Loveless Cafe property will be open, including the Loveless retail shops. Guests can dine off the full menu in the Loveless Cafe or choose to join the Easter Brunch in the Loveless Barn. The barn will be set in large round tables, so depending on your party size and space availability, you may be seated with other families.

Brunch will be served from 10 a.m.-3 p.m., and costs $24.95 for adults and $15.95 for kids 4-12 or seniors ages 60 and up. Young 'uns under 4 eat free. Your meal includes unlimited trips to the buffet.
Water, coffee, iced tea (sweet and unsweet) are included, with additional beverages available for purchase. Table service will be provided for seniors or others needing assistance.

Sunset Grill has both brunch and dinner covered for you. The $5 bloody Marys, mimosas and sparkling wines will make even the tensest family gathering more palatable, and the special brunch menu looks fantastic. Plus, kids under 12 eat free from the children's menu, so you'll have some extra scratch to buy them Cadbury Eggs. You can still make your reservations online here.

In Italy, they say, "Natale con i suoi, Pasqua con chi vuoi" which means "Christmas with your family, Easter with your own choice of friends." At Amerigo on West End, they're happy with whoever you choose to invite, friends or family. They'll be serving a selection of your brunch favorites like Pound Cake French Toast and Crab Cake Benedict. The brunch menu will be offered from 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m., or you can order from the full menu all day. Call (615) 320-1740 to make your reservations.
