Sacramento Kings forward DeMarcus Cousins might be onto something.
He accused Blake Griffin of flopping in a game Friday night and called Griffin an "actor" on the court.
Coincidentally, Griffin will be acting in an upcoming episode of Sesame Street. Known for his funny commercials, Griffin will play a chicken on the popular children's show.
In the Clippers' win over the Kings on Thursday, Cousins went ballistic on his fifth foul call when he swung his hand near Griffin's face but there appeared to be no contact. Griffin sold the call, though.
"I guess the wind from my hand hit him in the eye," Cousins said after the game. "I guess he got fouled by the wind...He's in L.A. where actors belong."
Cousins later told SI.com that Griffin was "babied" because he's "a poster child of the league." He was fined $25,000 by the NBA.
"I think Blake is a good actor, I've seen his commercials," Clippers coach Vinny Del Negro said before the Clippers had a rematch with the Kings. "I think he does a good job with them. But I wouldn't say he's an actor on the court."
Clippers point guard Chris Paul supported Griffin.
"That's fine," Paul said. "We won. (Cousins) lost. We're competing for the playoffs. He's not."
