City Council Speaker Christine Quinn stopped being a stoic leader for a moment on Wednesday to gush over her upcoming May 19 marriage to longtime girlfriend Kim Catullo. "It's really, really fun, and I'm having a lot more fun than I could have imagined," she said. Quinn said after hearing people talk about their weddings her whole life, it's refreshing to be planning her own. "Marriage is one of those few words in the world you don't have to explain," she said. "You say I'm getting married. Everybody knows what that means." Gay marriage became legal in New York last year.
